Policies and Procedures
Little Aisha Nursery policies and procedures apply to everyone visiting the setting including staff, students, volunteers, visitors and our children and families. The policies provide essential support for staff when making decisions about the day-to-day routine and running of their room and the Nursery. All staff have a responsibility to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times as stated in the terms and conditions in their Contract of Employment.
Policies and procedures are reviewed annually. Whenever new legislation comes into place affecting these policies, our nursery managers are responsible for ensuring that necessary amendments are made to the policies and communicated to staff and parents where necessary. Staff are also welcome to view the policy folders (which are kept in the branch manager’s office) whenever they feel they need a refresher; our managers operate an open door policy where staff are welcome to speak to managers or arrange appointments to do so whenever they feel it is necessary.
Below is a list of a few of our policies:
- Safeguarding Children
- Health & Safety
- Accidents and First Aid
- Sickness and Illness
- Settling In
- Inclusion and Equality
- Early Learning Opportunities Statement
